Strategic Location

Strategically positioned within a 4-hectare industrial complex near the Port of Luanda (former Cimianto), Rafinole benefits from direct access to vital logistics infrastructure. An additional site, even closer to the port, is dedicated to receiving and temporarily storing bulk vegetable oils. With a direct pipeline connection to the terminal, oils are efficiently transferred from vessels to storage tanks, reducing transportation costs and streamlining unloading operations.

State-of-the-Art Refinery

Our advanced refinery is designed to process 400 metric tons per day, refining degummed crude soybean oil and crude palm oil, as well as reprocessing olein and blending stearin with olein. The refining process includes acid treatment, neutralization, bleaching, filtration, and deodorization, ensuring the highest standards of purity and quality. Palm olein reprocessing is optimized by eliminating the need for neutralization and washing.

At the port, our storage facility accommodates up to 12,600 metric tons of bulk oil, primarily crude soybean oil and RBD palm olein. The facility integrates existing 2,800-ton tanks with additional 3,500-ton tanks, reinforcing supply chain stability and logistical efficiency.

Global Sourcing & Logistics

We source premium raw materials from leading international suppliers. Soybean oil is primarily imported from South America, including Brazil, Argentina, and Paraguay, as well as from North America. Palm olein and stearin originate from Malaysia and Indonesia.

Our facility boasts a total storage capacity of 14,800 metric tons for crude oils, 5,300 metric tons for refined oils, and 280 metric tons for by-products.

What We Do

We refine high-quality vegetable oils, fats, margarine, and sauces that contribute to Angola’s food security and industrial growth. With cutting-edge technology and an efficient supply chain, we ensure a seamless production process that meets the highest industry standards.
